Are there any non-returnable items?

1. Standard Non-Returnable Conditions

In accordance with Korean consumer law and seller policies, returns are generally not accepted in the following cases (non-exhaustive list):

  • Removal of Tags & Labels: Clothing or accessories where the brand tag has been cut or removed.
  • Damaged Packaging: Items where the original box or protective seal has been torn or discarded (especially for electronics and luxury goods).
  • Hygiene & Health Products: Cosmetics, skincare, or health supplements with a broken seal.
  • Signs of Use: Clothing that shows signs of wear, smells of perfume, or has been washed.
  • Final Sale Items: Goods clearly marked as "Non-returnable" or "Final Sale" (often found in clearance or limited-edition K-Pop merch).

2. Our Role: Your Dedicated Advocate

Stay Drop is not just an automated system; we are your local partner. If you face an issue with a product, we promise to:

  • Negotiate on Your Behalf: We will contact the seller's customer service in Korean and push for the best possible outcome (refund or exchange).
  • Evidence Review: We will review your photos and videos to build the strongest case against the seller if the product is defective.

3. Understanding the Local Context

While we strive to provide maximum assistance, please understand that Stay Drop must operate within the boundaries of South Korean retail industry standards.

  • Final Authority: The final decision on whether a return is accepted rests solely with the original seller (the store), not Stay Drop.
  • Strict Policies: Korean online malls have very rigid return protocols. If a seller rejects a return based on their legitimate terms and conditions, Stay Drop cannot legally or financially force a refund.
  • Service Boundary: Our role is to facilitate and mediate the process. We are responsible for the concierge service, but we do not assume the liabilities of the product manufacturer or the primary retailer.
